A Master Bath Renovation – Material Selection

With the new master bath floor plan and elevations approved it was time to move on to selecting all materials, fixtures and fittings to bring this nature-inspired master bath vision to life. Creating this luxurious hideaway required a shopping trip to one of my favorite Sources…Ann Sacks.

With my client’s profound connection with nature we were instantly drawn to a mixture of organic textures, neutral colors and natural patterns, which found in stones, pebbles, woods and marbles.  For this design profile – It is all about bringing the outdoors in and tactfully combining the five natural elements of earth, fire, water, wood and metal into this space to create a soothing and tranquil spa environment.  Because at the end of the day it is all about re-energizing their spirit and repairing their sense of well-being. Here is a glimpse into the color/material palette of this Nature Inspired Master Bath:

Floor: This stunning 16”x16” Italian marble tile defines the natural elegance of this master bath blending cream, rust, yellow and a hint of burgundy. Wall Tile: Bamboo inspired tile captures the essence of the garden and will create a dramatic feature wall. Shower Floor:  Natural pebbles under foot for a gentle massage of the feet. Sinks:  Carved from natural boulders these unique vessel sinks from Stone Forest vary in shape, color and size. Backsplash:  These 2”x8” FSC certified teak tiles create a unique backsplash detail for this nature-inspired bath. Wall Tile:  3×6” Matte Stoneware tile to sooth the textured materials and compliment the indoor/outdoor vibe. Countertops: Caesarstone To be Continued… I would love to help you design your Master Bath Retreat.  Contact us at Interior Makeovers Inc.310-788-0990 or email: Lori@InteriorMakeovers.com.
